Pioneer Employment is a free service, established to assist people with a disability to find and keep a job under an award or a legally recognised agreement, in the open workforce.
Pioneer Employment is a professionally operated, community based, not-for-profit organisation, overseen by a volunteer management committee.

• Help you to prepare your resume
• Talk to employers for you
• Help you to get the skills needed for the job
• Help your new employer to understand your disability
• Provide free, on-the-job support & training assistance to help you learn & keep the job
Together we can find the job that you want to do, according to your abilities, skills & stated goals & needs.
You may be eligible for our services if one or more of these criteria applies to you:
• You have a disability or disadvantage
• You are on the disability support pension
• You require support to work up to or more than 15 hours per week
• You are looking for work & currently attend a special needs unit or special School
• You are working but might loose your job because of your disability
• You are unable to work at full productivity & need to access a Supported Wage System or a productivity based wage
(Note: If you are in one or more of the above categories and you are on a payment such as, Newstart, Youth Allowance or Parenting Payment, you may also be eligible.)

You may deregister from Pioneer Employment Service at any time.
If you have not secured employment within 18 months you may be deregistered.
Pioneer Employment Service has the right to withdraw its service for:
• Your failure to keep appointments that you have agreed to,
• Your failure to follow through with mutually agreed activities, or
abusive or offensive behaviour.
