Pioneer Employment are the Disability Employment Specialists.
We assist people with a disability to gain & hold a legally recognised, paying job. We provide employment assistance to eligible people from the Mackay Region & parts of the Isaac Region.
Established in 1991, Pioneer Employment is a not-for-profit, community based organisation, run by a volunteer Management Committee.
Consumer Group meetings are held twice a year.
This is your chance to come along and have a say in what happens at Pioneer Employment,
talk about any concerns you may have,
make suggestions &
meet other people being helped by Pioneer Employment.
Any Pioneer Employment Jobseeker / Worker & / or their advocate can attend the Consumer Group meetings.
There will be a person there to help run the meeting who is not from Pioneer Employment, so you can talk freely about anything relating to Pioneer Employment.
The Consumer Group usually meets at the Buffalo Club in Victoria Street, & refreshments are served.
Meeting dates are advertised in the Pioneer Employment Newsletter.
